The most popular satirical comedy drama series of PTV history.

Shehzori: Dramatized by Haseena Moin on a novel of Azeem Baig Chughtai. 1973

Kiran Kahani (Kiran’s Story): Written by Haseena Moin. 1973

Aik Chehra kai Chehray (A manifold Face): 30 episodes drama series on 17 selected short stories of renowned Urdu poet and short story writer Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi. Dec. 1973-July 1974

Neelam Ghar: 1st season 4th November 1974; 2nd season 1985; 3rd season July 1993; 4th season 2006-16. From third season the name changed as Tariq Aziz show and from fourth season it’s now Baz-me- Tariq Aziz.
The most celebrated program of PTV history which contained all the healthy entertainment from quiz to poetry, celebrities, music, new talent, and everything. Hosted by Tariq Aziz who is the most known figure of PTV.

Nai-purani Aik Kahani (Old and New Story): Juvenile drama series on stories selected from world literature, dramatized by famous Urdu Poet Kishwar Naheed. 1975

Roomy: Juvenile drama serial written by Haseena Moin. 1975

Intizar Farmaiye (Wait, Please!): Written by Athar Shah Khan. 1975

Shamaa: Dramatized by Fatima Suraiya Bajya on a novel of A. R. Khatoon. 1976

Aik tha Gaon (It was a Village): Dramatized by Johar Mir on a novel of Fehmida Akhtar. 1976

Tabeer (The Effect): Written by Saleem Ahmad. 1976-77
Drama series depicted the intrigued scenario before the partition of 1947.

Aik-Muhabbat Sau-Afsanay (A good few Legends of a Love): Written by renowned Urdu author and mystique, Ashfaq Ahmad. 1976-remake 1998-99. The drama series focused the various legends of love depicted by Ashfaq Ahmad in a more real style to convey the mystiques of love and its many follies. Most of the plays ends with petitio principii.

Parchaiyan (The Shadows): Dramatized by Haseena Moin on the novel of Henry James “Portrait of a Lady”. 1977

Kalyan (Buds): Conceived and written by Farooq Qaiser. 1st Season Jan. 1977- Oct. 1980. The most popular light comedy sitcom of the PTV history, other seasons were aired in the eighties and nineties. The show focused the laymen and their wretched circumstances using the literary devices mostly the aphorisms. The first season focused and made for children and juvenile, other seasons focused the adult audience.

One of the most popular among all the drams serials.

Fifty-Fifty: 1979-81
